Firstly, the location of the property is not in Oneroa. It is more like Palm Beach. It is a taxi ride into town, and too far to walk especially if you have children. We felt the property wasn't safe for young children, there is a makeshift chicken wire "fence" put across a steep section off the back porch. We also found lots of dog hair on blankets, which we assumed was from previous guests. Other than that, the property is large and spacious.
The property is recorded by NZ Post as Oneroa. Every other family renting our house either hired a car, had bikes or brought their own car. The local bus also stops two houses away. The chicken wire fence (rolled up) was designed for our dogs to lead down to a grass area. The tenant used the dog blankets on the high shelf in the landlords cupboard rather than the blankets provided.
