Open plan living with large kitchen (even a dishwasher!), lounge/sleeping area and a separate bathroom/laundry. Ranch sliders open out to a spacious flat grassed area where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet in your own BBQ area under the umbrella.
The Beach is just up the driveway and across the road! The 'Local' Hippy Pipi dairy, takeaways, cafe and bar is just a short wander down the road.
Pukehina Beach is a quiet beachside community situated on the east coast of the North Island in the sunny and very lovely Bay of Plenty. Pukehina Beach is situated 30-40 minutes drive from Tauranga (Toll Road), Rotorua and Whakatane. If you need to refuel the boat, a BP is only 5 minutes away.
Check in time is 3pm and checkout time is 10am.
Linen and towels are not available at this property, however the beds are dressed with mattress and protectors, pillows and protectors and duvets.
There is room for a two man tent in the yard if your numbers increase. (Maximum of 7 at the property)

Converted garage with painted concrete floor which produced strong smell. Doors had to be opened all the time which was inconvenient during the night since there was no insect screens on the doors. No stove. Location was great, beach access was just across the road. Large grass area if you have a dog.
I submitted feedback on the 25th Nov stating my concerns about the property. Although the property has potential, I questioned why it was listed in its current state. In short, no hot water, overpowering musty smell, steep access not suitable for 2 wheel drive vehicles, poor ventilation....
Owners were very friendly and welcoming and I was very happy they were good with dogs being able to stay at their property. Also I am aware that it was short notice at a busy time, ideally the property did not suit me best but I did appreciate having somewhere to stay. Beach access across the road too.
