What a magnificent property, brilliant views, very well maintained, plenty of room and facilities, secluded yet reasonably close to major amenities. Very relaxing with spectacular walks nearby, Kayaks for exploring the little islands on the lake in front and a private glow worm gallery at the end of the extensive grounds
Adored this property. The views were amazing and there were so many different areas to wander to. The kids were entertained with the swing, walkways, tree house, games, DVDs... Also great room out back for our part of the family to be by ourselves and not disturb the rest of the family. Loved having a fire blazing away at night and the pizza oven was a great activity for dinner. Great facilities and everything we could have wanted was provided.
Superb locale, perfect spot for family and friends to come together or to enjoy as a couple. Enjoy the views whilst listening to the bird song. Do as much or as little as you will. Possibly the most sheltered bay at Tarawera, water clarity at the beach one of the best and certainly one of the most well equipped kitchens I've used in a while. Water pressure in the shower is on the weak side but enough to get you moving and into your day. Cant wait to head back.
Hi Angela, Great that you and your family enjoyed your stay. Recently we have installed a UV Filter system on the properties water supply and we think this has not helped with the water pressure. Today we have had installed an additional pump to boost the hot water which has dramatically increased the shower pressure, so will be better should you return. Thanks for your feedback. :0)
Bach 575 is amazing! Awesome secluded location and very private. Love the native bush and bird life surrounding the property and the view to the lake couldn’t be better! Even saw the elusive rainbow trout who popped his head up to eat some bread i’d thrown for the birds. Wood fire pizzas for dinner just made my night. Perfect romantic getaway or fishing holiday with plenty of room for extras. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
