Second year in a row we have stayed at Nikau Cottage at Onetangi, Waiheke Island. Never disappoints, great location if you want the best of both worlds on Waiheke; the beaches and the bush! And to top it off, diverse choice in vineyards, if vino is your thing.

We stayed here for three nights and were absolutely in love with it. The location was great and they did have bikes to use! And a bike pump when the tires get low. Lovely outdoor area and bbq pit. Tucked away in the trees making it feel secluded while still within a ten minute walk from the beach! Definitely stay here if you get the chance!!

Thank you dear host It was a really cute and cosy place to be surrounded by the natural habitat of green foliage. It was a very serene and refreshing place.

  • We had a wonderful time in Onetangi

We had a wonderful time in Onetangi. The bach was just right for our family - the kids loved the toys, the hammock and the resident kereru in the big nikau just outside the window! Other highlights for our 2 year old included throwing stones in the creek and waving to the wooden fantail by the path. The kitchen was well set up and the location was great. Thanks for a lovely holiday
