  • Absolutely loved Nicau Cottage

Absolutely loved Nicau Cottage. Location was stunning; secluded and peaceful. Dawn chorus was beautiful! Lovely big deck. Everything we could possibly need was at hand. Clean and beautifully furnished. Can't wait to return with friends and family!

Everything we needed was provided, information, kitchen supplies, games/books, bikes and a great coffee machine. Clean and homely. Lovely bush setting, may be a bit dark in the winter, but heat pumps provided.

  • Just gorgeous

Just gorgeous. Lucky he warned about the driveway as it was definitely only possible with a four wheel drive. The bach was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. And what a stunning place right in the bush. The shower could have been a little warmer but overall we had a spectacular stay. I would highly recommend for a technology free, native bush get away. Love the birdsong in the morning. Thanks so much. Will try to get back one day.

    Owner/manager responds:

Thanks for your comments. The shower runs cooler in the winter because the pipe from the rain water tank that feeds the house gets colder. The trick is to put the shower head slightly lower on the wall, which reduces the back pressure on the hot water, which makes the shower run hotter. It's only an issue with very cold nights. We will ensure we tell advise guests who stay in the winter.
