  • The bach in duncan bay has everything you need for a few...

The bach in duncan bay has everything you need for a few days or even a holiday in the sounds. There's a fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, a range of dvds for rainy days, a bbq... It's all there! We enjoyed taking the kayaks out and really liked that there was a trolley provided to pull them down to the boat ramp. We can definitely recommend staying at this lovely home!

The bach is well located, nice and tidy with a nice view from the deck and all the facilities we wanted. There's even a really excellent DVD collection if you had some rainy days. Neat walking tracks in the area too, and the surrounding forest is wonderful. If we come again, we're aiming to visit Matai Bay hut, which looked fantastic when we saw it from the boat. Great spot.

  • A great place to stay, with everything we needed

A great place to stay, with everything we needed. Well-equipped kitchen and a superb BBQ. Very secluded spot and well maintained bach and garden. More like a home than a bach, which was nice. Sunny deck with seats and table. As a fisher, I loved the kayak, filleting bench and bait freezer. Will be going back for sure.
