We stayed for 5 nights. The place is well maintained and it seems the owners have carefully think on every small detail. Tons of toys and books for kids - we loved it! Also farm animals, astonishing view and relaxed atmosphere. The sea is 5 minutes drive away, stores are 10 minutes drive. Close to many attractions in Abel Tasman.
Our barnstay was our favourite NZ accommodation. David greeted us upon arrival, showed us around the barn, introduced us to the animals and left us with farm fresh eggs and lemons. The barn was well equipped with everything we needed. The little details really do make a positive impression such as lots of clean dish cloths and tea towels, quality pots and sharp knives. Everything was clean and tidy. The views were amazing and peaceful. The kids loved Dudley the pig. David and Gill left us with some Christmas decorations so we could still have a special Christmas morning. We departed Christmas morning and they sent us on our way with mince pies, a Christmas cracker and blooms from NZ’s Christmas tree. So thoughtful!
