Bach or holiday home | Kaiteriteri | #5605
Family cottage on big flat section situated on headland in cul-de-sac with plenty of parking. Beautiful views down into Stephens Bay and across Tasman Bay towards Nelson and D'Urville Island. Few minutes walk to Stephens Bay on one side and Tapu on the other. Great safe swimming, stream for children to play in at low tide, walks along beaches, over the coastal path to Little Kaiteriteri and Kaiteriteri or around the rocks at low tide. Good for cockling, fishing and water sports. People can launch their boats at Stephens Bay or at Kaiteriteri where there is a concrete boat ramp.
It is 5 minutes drive to Kaiteriteri where there are kayaks and dinghys for hire and various companies organising boats trips down the Abel Tasman with drop-off points along the way. There is a grocery store at Kaiteriteri plus a cafe, take-aways and a restaurant. Motueka is only 15 minutes drive from Stephens Bay and has two cinemas, many restaurants and cafes and good shopping. Golden Bay is less than an hour's drive over Takaka Hill and well worth a visit.
