Amazing location, very private yet only ten minute walk away from village. Views from property unbelievable and sounds of birds make you feel that you really are living in a tree house. Russell is an amazing location, one of our favourites in the Bay of Islands.
We had a lovely week at The Tree House; it feels like a real sanctuary away from the world. It's a 5 minute walk to town, but is in a very secluded position, surrounded by native bush. We enjoyed our daily visits from the cheeky weka and the tuis, and hearing the kiwi calls each night. The pictures don't do the house justice - it was immaculately clean, well stocked with regard to kitchen utensils, books and games. There is a balcony for every time of the day! Would thoroughly recommend.
