Quiet cul-de-sac. a great getaway for couples, K9 guests are also welcome with prior notice (property is unfenced) Please note that from 25 October to 01 March, certain restrictions apply to public areas for dogs. There is however an Off leash exercise area 24/7 all year around on northern end of the beach. Bush tracks you can walk to from unit and another beach accessible on foot only, with no dog restrictions. Wentworth Valley a short drive away,dog friendly,well maintained tracks,pristine native bush,beautiful waterfall.Mountain bike park a 10mn drive away,also great for walking your best friend off leash,especially if it is too hot or raining.
Less than a minute's walk to Onemana beach, 5mn walk to the local cafe and dairy. 6kms north of Whangamata. Less than 2 hours' drive from Auckland.
Dogs allowed indoors but please use outside shower for rinsing off your pet.

Lovely property, well placed for beach. Very dog-friendly owners and dogs may be off leash for half of the beach. No Spark cell phone coverage. I would make the following improvements: Provide a BBQ with hood for when it rains, an emergency contact number and a good torch for power cuts.
Beautifully decorated, modern, clean and very comfortable with an intimate verandah setting for dining. Such a bonus to be able to see the ocean, we went to sleep with the sound of waves and woke to tui bird song every morning. Very private location set in a quiet cul-de-sac, perfect for an escape with a cafe/restaurant and takeaways just down the road. Tennis courts on the domain, beach walks and board games at the "lower hut", you get to choose how active you want to be.
