Seaview House was built in the late 1800's and retains much of its original character, double staircase, clawfoot bath in shared bathroom, high ceilings etc, while offering one of Napier's most spectacular views, overlooking the city and out across the Pacific ocean to Cape Kidnappers.

Perfectly located on the terrace with local cafes, bars, restaurants and many local attractions only a short stroll away (no need for the car)

In the evening you can BBQ on the deck or in the courtyard and enjoy a vino! or two!! and then maybe a relaxing spa just down the steps at the Ocean spa complex, the property has a full facility kitchen, with complementary tea and coffee. Laundry facilities and all linen are provided, there is also a porta cot, High chair & stroller available should you have a baby, but we do stress that the property does have a double staircase, however we do have a child safety gate, just request it and we can put it in place as there is a knack to doing this. Also we have FREE WiFi available for guests use. Password will be issued to you in your final booking statement along with your personal key code.

Smoking is allowed in the courtyard and ashtrays are provided.

We live separately from the main house but are close by should you require anything, maybe just information on local attractions, the best restaurants etc.

We do not have eftpos so can only accept cash, cheque or internet banking.

We do not charge GST

Special conditions: Minimum of 2 nights stay, smoking allowed outside in the courtyard only, and ashtrays are provided. We do NOT have eftpos and can only accept cash, cheques or internet banking. The outdoor fireplace is available to use but you must purchase your own firewood, gas stations, Mega 10 & the Warehouse do have wood available in the winter months However during the summer months the Hawkes Bay area's do have strict N.C.C Fire Bans! please feel free to enquire at time of making a booking.

    Seaview House was perfect for our stay in Napier, with plenty of space indoors and out. It has great views of the sea, and close to town. The courtyard and outdoor fire were awesome. Would highly recommend.

    Seaview House has very much a homely feel, spotlessly clean and very well appointed.The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Plenty of room for all, the courtyard a real suntrap and gives a sense of privacy and shelter. It was disappointing not to be able to use the courtyard open fire, as this was a real attraction for us when booking and does feature as a working fire in many photos. Leyan did however provide an outdoor gas heater. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend!!
