  • Stunnings views
  • Great facilities.

This two bedroomed cottage C.1880 is located on a stunning site 3 min drive from the car ferry. Stroll to the cafe, art gallery, pub, dairy, post office, RSA or bowls club. Take in the heritage walk around the village or just unwind with far reaching views in front of you.

Refurbished in recent years this is a very tidy cottage. Whilst it's a good place to rest if passing through it also makes a good base to discover Northlands beaches and walks.

    Owner/manager responds:

Thank you for your feedback, which we find intriguing. Our neighbours advised that it was your party who were noisy and arguing. This was supported by our cleaner who discovered your party had used all the linen meant for over 8 people, when the cottage sleeps 4. The sewerage issue has been addressed by the council. We trust others will understand this response and read the other other glowing reviews of our property.

A lovely atmospheric cottage dating back to the 1880s, with a totally magnificent view over the Hokianga harbour. Especially inspirational if you are a creative type! The kitchen is well equipped, and a fireplace and heat-pump made things cosy over winter. Extra homely touches include an excellent stereo and use of CDs and DVDs, plus information on the history of Kohukohu.
