Thank you for taking the time to get this far in looking for more details on Seascape. We would like to introduce ourselves. Our names are Grant and Kathy, kiwis through and through. We live just out of Christchurch and run a luxury Bed and Breakfast, Silverstream Lodge. Look us up and you will see we have years of experience in making guests feel welcome and pampered. Often the little touches make the difference and while Seascape is a different type of experience for our guests, we still strongly believe the fundamentals of good hosting remain the same - clean, clean, clean, good quality linen, excellent comfortable beds, extra pillows and plenty of thoughtful extras. In practical terms these extras include serving bowls, good sharp knives, extra cutlery in case friends call in, wine glasses for still and sparkling, cute wee dishes and platters for nibbles and wine on the deck, cleaning products, bean bags and comfy chairs you can use inside and out, BBQ that works, SkyTV.... all of these make a difference to your holiday.

Seascape, recently remodelled, was one of the first homes in the area. We believe it has one of the the best sea views and location. It is very close to Picton (30 mins) for ferry access, Blenheim (45 mins) for the wine-trails and excellent local food. Linkwater shops are 5 mins away for basics. The Queen Charlotte walking track is 10 mins walk away along with many other walks. 2 mins to a public jetty for boat access. Mountain biking, kayaking, easy relaxing biking, boating, fishing, etc. That being said, you will probably never want to leave as it is so idyllic and peaceful.

Come, relax, and enjoy NZ at it's very best with the most noise coming from the wide and varied native bird life.

Beautifully renovated with an amazing view and so nice and cosy in winter. So many little touches that made this a great place to stay and everything you could possibly need for a break away. Especially loved our wee dog could enjoy the holiday with us. Will definitely recommend and be back!

  • What a fabulous place to stay

What a fabulous place to stay. The house is beautifully furnished, warm and comfortable, and every little detail has been thought of - right down to tea cosies for the teapots. We had such a lovely time with our two little dogs, who enjoyed walking the tracks, and keeping an eye on the road from the beautiful deck. The house sits facing the sun, and there is a comfortable chair and a window for every time of the day with views of the water. We would love to stay again.

The bach is well located at the entrance to Anakiwa, with great views of the sound from the main living area. It was very tidy on our arrival and had all the amenities you'd normally only see in a permanent residence, as opposed to a bach. The kayaks were a nice bonus for the fisherman among us. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
