Brilliant location, close to local shop, pub and Fish & Chip shop. No more than a 5 min drive to Wanaka and easy access to Arrowtown & Queenstown either through crown range or round through Cromwell. Everything you could need within the property itself, possibly could do with another fan or two-we were there during 33 degree C heat!
It's a charming location, and relatively cheap accomodation however a little investment would not go astray. The oven did not heat up enough to cook a pizza properly, the heater in the bathroom is broken and potential hazard. The house was freezing in the winter, you can't run the fire 24/7 so some functioning radiators would be good. If it were not for the lovely lady across the road supplying extra blankets my kids would have frozen!
