Located in a stunning part of Central, not an obvious tourist spot so deliciously secluded. The cottage had everything we needed, the log fire an absolute winner. Great exploring to be had in the close surrounds, and it was the perfect place to get cosy after a day out.
Great location for Central Otago activities and sites - biking, walking. Clyde, the Rail Trail etc. Awesome to be in right out in the countryside. A really cosy and comfortable cottage with an excellent fire. We had a great family holiday.
I have rated this five stars because it is what we were looking for, steeped in history and its location had an appeal of its own. If you are accustomed to city luxuries this property is not for you. We had quality 'us time', in a stone cottage far away from the rat race but not so far that we couldn't re-join it for a while.
