The Cottage is a 100-year-old lovingly restored shearer's quarters, transported to the site from the Gisborne high country. The cottage retains the historical features in keeping with a colonial style, with the addition of a modern fitted kitchen. Beautifully appointed throughout with two air conditioning units for your comfort, tranquillity is assured for your private holiday getaway. The property is fully self-contained with all linen supplied.

What a gorgeous wee cottage. Fabulous location... just minutes walking distance to the lovely Wainui beach. There was a bowl of mandarins waiting for us. It was toasty warm with lots of bedding and heat pumps. We cooked up a storm and had a great stay, Definitely recommend. In fact we may be back. ...
