Lovely little cottage just right for two. Gorgeous view, clean, comfortable, tidy with all the items we needed. A bit of a puff walking up from the village but not far. We absolutely loved Great Barrier Island. So very beautiful, lots of wildlife, pristine beaches, bush, kayaking, fishing, walking and swimming. There was heaps to do and the people were very friendly. Loved the Irish Pub. Great Barrier is my 'Happy Place' and we will be back. Thanks Janet.

  • Kaka cottage was the perfect little getaway

Kaka cottage was the perfect little getaway. We enjoyed the view from the bush over the bay, and location was handy to store, cafe and restaurants as well as good walks and beaches. With only 12 Volt supply power, the only minor inconvenience was having to take my camera battery to the nearby house to recharge.
