This was a fantastic property and we loved staying there! It had so much character with splashes of French style and old world charm! A great location for a large family group! Beautiful bathrooms and comfy beds, cosy log fire as well as a great social out door space! The lodge has river views and is close to the rugged but beautiful beach! Very small village, and the pub was very friendly and welcoming! The best steaks I have had for a long time! No supermarket, go prepared with supplies!!
The fact that the property was built in 1884 as a general store made it interesting being historical ,plenty of room, big modern kitchen, my granddaughter and little dog could run around happily, I had a really memorable experience, thank you Garry
Beautiful renovated historic property. Lots of space, amazing garden. Kid friendly. Everything you need. Yes, it's quite isolated but we found it charming to wake up to the birds singing by our windows and watching our kids swing on the tire swing by the river. Dreamy place to relax and explore off the beaten path. Highly recommend!
Wonderful weekend away and a truely great time spent in the lodge. Delightfully cosy, warm, and inviting house. Great communication and liaising with Garry throughout. Definitely recommend to others and definitely coming back. Thank you so much!
