This is a home away from home. Plenty of room for the boat.

The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac but only a short walk to the lake edge at 2 Mile Bay. Very close to the boat ramps, convenience shops, local pub with a 5-7 min drive to town. This is a family friendly home which allows pets. (conditions apply)

The main large living area is upstairs with a movie room downstairs which has a 60 inch TV with surround sound. The lounge has 2 sliding doors that lead out onto 2 seperate decks. 1 has a large BBQ. A beautiful new kitchen and a dinning area with the capacity to host large dinners.

There is a bathroom upstairs which the bath is current out of commission due to renovations but vanity unit is operational and downstairs there is a shower with a basin in the laundry.

Special conditions: * Dogs are allowed but not inside home. * Front balcony not recommended for small children. * Smokers outside only * at present the bath's cold water plumbing has been temporary disconnected due to renovations. Shower is downstairs with bathroom upstairs. * downstairs entrance ceiling hasn't been re gibbed yet and one bedroom downstairs ceiling also needs to be gibbed.

  • The driveway was long and perfect for the boat

    The driveway was long and perfect for the boat. The boat ramp was 1 minute away. There was a nice restaurant walking distance and "town" is a very cheap taxi ride away for the evening you want to all have a cocktail! The house is great. The beds all had clean sheets and clean towels. The black couches with the huge TV downstairs were to die for! Total recliners... I think I fell asleep there every night! There is a peek-a boo view of the lake too.

  • Great location, nice kitchen

    Great location, nice kitchen. While the ad did mention renovation the extent was not revealed until after I had paid. For example bedroom with no ceiling and exposed cables. The bedding was fine however many other parts of the property were untidy & dirty. The front balcony rail is very unsafe and needs mending. A few things were broken like the umbrella on the back deck. More care and attention could make this a great bach.

    Thanks for your feedback and we appreciate it and will take you feedback on board, we have now contacted a builder to look at the front balcony rail. In regards to the renovations we have stated on the bookabach website about the no gib on the ceiling in one bedroom and front entrance so this certainly wasn't hidden and I mentioned it again in the email to you as a reminder of what was in the ad. The umbrella is in very good working order but it does take some thought process to how to put up.
