Fantastic magical spot with amazing setting and private accommodation. Boat facilities are perfect with concrete ramp, wash down gear and mooring available. Very relaxing place to unwind and yet less than half an hour from Waipapa. Owner is very helpful with local knowledge and was more than happy to let us stroll through her extensive orchard/vege patch and help ourselves. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Can’t wait to return & catch more fish next time.
This place is unreal. Absolutely primo location, in a spot so beautiful and so secluded it beggars belief. The house itself is what you would expect of a Kiwi bach; set up with the bits you need, and nothing more. This is 'no frills' bliss, on private land with plenty of room for furry friends and kids to wander, free range but safe. Loved having our dog here, especially as she wasn't just tolerated, but welcomed - makes a huge difference! Awesome host, awesome spot - an absolute must-do.
