Bach or holiday home | Foxton Beach | #9895
Only 2 minutes walk from the lovely estuary, this is a traditional family bach with all the basics for a great time away! It's a really large, fully-fenced section, so bring your animals for a mini-break with you. It's a real get-away-from-it-all Kiwi holiday - enjoy the peace with no TV or phone to interupt your board games, swimming, walks and reading time.
The bach is very family-friendly, with books, magazines, board games and toys all avaliable to use. Playgrounds, Four Square, dairy and fish and chip shops are all in easy walking distance.
This is also a wonderful spot for a couple wanting some time to reconnect with walks along the beach, a coffee at the local cafe and some serious downtime from the hustle and bustle of city life.
With the cost per night for up to 6 people, it's a cheap break away for family, friends and whanau!
The bach has beds for 10 people - two sets of bunks, a queen-size bed, two single beds and two single trundler beds. The house is only 90sqm so while it can sleep that many, it's best for those who are happy with intimacy with their family and friends :) The room with the three beds has a door, but the one off the queen bed and kitchen have curtains (keeping with that easy bach feel).
Special conditions: This bach is a basic kiwi Bach and is a work in progress which we are renovating as we are able, so please don't expect perfection! We'd hate for you to be disappointed. Cost wise, we are very reasonable. By comparison, one night in a tent at the local campground costs $144 for 6 people to stay, twice what we charge. We've recently replaced thefireplace, put a new lounge ceiling up and put on a carport. Working on a new ceiling for the small bedroom and outside work is next on the agenda.

For what it is this bach is 5 stars. It's comfy and cosy with the fire, full of beds so you can stay with the extended family, toys and games for the kids and room outside to run around. It's close to the estuary, beach and park as well as shops with basic groceries. We love coming here, it feels like home when you come in, not too fancy so you're afraid to break it and with everything you need. A real old kiwi bach. Thanks for sharing guys.
We had a long 7 hour trip in the rain the entire journey and it was wonderful to find a cosy feel good kiwi Bach. Delighted to have a fireplace with plenty of available dry firewood.. in the morning we had a bit of sunlight and got to explore the walks around the estuary only minutes away from the batch. The batch is well situated, a plus to have property enclosed for the dogs, kitchen well equipped, heaps of sheets and towels, food shower, interesting books, sorry we had only a one night stay.
