For larger groups, this property is affiliated with the adjoining house (Maison du Soleil, Bookabach #35475) and, via a garden gate, a third property (Maison Rouge, Bookabach #33579). So it is possible for larger groups to stay in close proximity, yet maintain privacy when required.
The neighbourhood is quiet, but not far from the restaurants and cafes at the northern end of Stanmore Road. Other local facilities include a nearby supermarket, bus routes and Richmond Playground. A little further afield lies the Wilding Park Tennis centre and The Palms Shopping Mall.
There is off-street parking for one car in front of the single garage (remote entry available).
Inside is naturally warm and spacious. Double glazing adds to this warmth and adds to the peaceful ambience of the locale.

Reluctant to review this property as it's a wee hidden gem that will become popular, definitely intend to revisit. Beautifully presented, top spec, well designed and thought out for maximum comfort - loved the huge dinning table and open plan living space, which if you were booking the adjoining properties for an extended group, would be ideal to gather around. Quiet street but still close to CBD. Top tip - visit Pomeroys Pub and Cafe for awesome craft beers and amazing food just 1.6km away.
Maison du Ciel Is the most stunning accommodation we've ever stayed in as a family. It was excellent value for money for the quality - the French vibe was not over done, just classy and very comfortable. The gardens are immaculate and the topiary animals a quirky touch. Beds very comfy and linen high quality too. The decor has been beautifully put together. Location central, 10 mins drive to city centre. Close to The Palms mall and lots of great food places nearby too. Highly recommend!
