Insect screens allow the sliding windows to be open on hot nights without moths , mosquitos etc swarming in
Bird life abounds, and the ParaPara river ,glimpsed through the trees is 20 steps away.Old gold workings from the 19th century are still visible, and the track up the river follows the water race that provided power for the historic paint factory working in the early days of the colony

Absolutely stunning home that was a true retreat. Beautiful secluded location, a very comfortable bed, and the fireplace kept us warm and cozy. Loved watching the fantails and listening to the river. This is our new favourite place and we can't wait to come back soon. Thank you Reen!
This is a piece of absolute magic... The cabin itself is incredibly well appointed - there was nothing we wanted for...Reen has thought of everything. All the small details helped make our visit incredibly special. Listening to the river as we fell asleep at night was amazing and being able to visit by day really made our few days away. We couldn't fit all our planned activities in as we spent more time lapping up this gorgeous cabin and surrounding area.
This is a magical place - the house is comfortable, cosy and very well set up. The property is private, with beautiful native bush all around and a delightful walk alongside a wild stream, with rock climbing, swimming and sitting, listening to the stream burble along all lots of fun. Completely relaxing and tranquil with lots of things to do nearby. Thoroughly recommend and we will be back!!
