Our flagship 2008 Methode Traditionelle and a Pinot Gris "Ice style" desert wines are superb! All this can be enjoyed overlooking our pristine vineyard from our wide second story cafe decks!

Take a kayak for a leisurely paddle down the river to the lake, fish, swim, sail, water ski or let us book you a rafting trip on the mighty Tongariro River. Try snow skiing during the winter months, it's just 45min to the Top of the Bruce at Whakapapa skifield from here.

Local walks, tramping, hiking (or "rambling" for you British folks) abound and we are happy to advise on the gear required and suitability for varying fitness levels.

  • The bach is beautiful, comfortable, cosy and well appointed

The bach is beautiful, comfortable, cosy and well appointed. We had everything we needed, as well as the pleasure of staying in such a lovely place. In our top 2 of places to stay in NZ! My only request would be perhaps a little sugar to go with our delicious personally ground coffee in the morning! Loved every minute

  • A truly excellent holiday home

A truly excellent holiday home. Luxurious all the way. By far the best place we stayed on our New Zealand holiday. The house is beautiful, a glass house placed in the middle of a vineyard. Quiet and private, even though we were there during the harvest. We stayed four nights, and would have stayed much longer if time had allowed.
