Beautiful Cottage, lovely location, cosy, comfy, had everything you could need and very clean. Handy to all the local attractions. Although Nigel and Pam can arrange bicycle hire, if you don't have a four wheel drive or bicycle mounts on the back of your car, the trek back up Mt Karangahake is pretty steep. Next time I stay and I definately would, I would arrange bike hire down near the cycle tracks or hire an electric bike, which you can do through Nigel and Pam. Great place to stay. What a beautiful place, quiet and serene. It is just perfect! The hosts are friendly and ensure you have everything you need! Thank you Nigel and Pam. We will be back!
Our stay was really nice. The location of the property very tranquil and beautiful view over the gorge. Nigel and Pamela were very welcoming and relaxed which helped us feel at home. My kids were also gifted a book Nigel had written. Highly recommend.
Oh, this was just gorgeous! Fully self contained, full of character and warmth, with only the birds for company. We stayed here for two nights in mid-winter while we explored the Karangahake Gorge and it was perfect - nicely positioned to make the most of the local attractions. Nigel and Pamela are exemplary hosts and the cottage has everything you need for a romantic getaway. We will be back!
