Clean and tidy holiday house with stunning views down Queen Charlotte Sound. Native bush reserve surrounds our house, so you wake to the sound of birds. Watch out for the cheeky weka. It is a short walk to the water and jetty. Boat launching is available at Tirimoana off a concrete ramp. we are handy to Queen Charlotte Walkway for walking and mountain biking. Kayak hire and tours nearby. Longer boat trips available from Picton and Havelock (the famous mail run to small isolated bays) Wading in the water or going handline fishing off the Tirimoana jetty are popular for young ones. A fantastic bonus is the glow worms dell at the back of our house. Creep along after dark and you might be lucky to see the tiny glowing lights.

There is easy sealed road access to the front steps of the house. Views out each window are native bush or the sea. You can see right down the Queen Charlotte with sightings of the Picton ferry , cruise ships, yachts and small craft. Magic for relaxation.

The house is fully equipped with good furniture and very comfortable near new beds. There are 2 queen beds and a single. For your comfort and ease on holiday there is a heat pump, dishwasher, washing machine and drier. There is a TV, a DVD player and board games for rainy weather.

Bach was great, we had three nights over labor weekend and was magic. Helped that weather was brilliant but house is lovely, has everything we needed, close to beach safe for out three year old who delighted at fishing for spotties off the jetty! Glow worms were out in force perfect for our wee one to go hunting. Couldn’t ask for more really. Would recommend to anyone wanting easy access to the sounds and a comfy Bach to stay in!

A lovely and tastefully decorated house with everything that we needed. A quiet location amongst native plants with a great view to the sea. An excellent location for exploring the sounds. The glow worms were amazing as were the stars in a crystal clear sky.
