Cottage | Otaki Beach | #6064
Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants, shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 10 mins drive from Otaki.

Thanks for making our visit such a relaxing and interesting one. The surroundings are so green and open. It was a real treat for us city slickers. We learnt alot fom you both and really enjoyed the food on offer. You went to great lengths to make our stay a relaxing and pleasurable one. We'll definitely be coming back!!! I would recommend Sundari to anyone who wants a quiet get away but with a health and wellbeing experience thrown in.
While we were at Sundari, all we could ever need was lovingly prepared. And Jill at Soaring Eagle gave us a massage that soothed any last tensions away. Sundari, I found out, means 'temple bells' in Balinese and 'beautiful woman' in Sanskrit. When you arrive you can hear the gentle wind chimes in the lancewood calling you to relax in this lovingly created 'temple'. I came away feeling like I was in back in touch with my inner peace and beauty. Stilled, calmed, refreshed. Thank you so much.
