Porirua Station holiday homes

We stayed 2 nights. Enough for us as we tour New Zealand, very comfortable warm home.

Lovely spacious, light-filled studio room with views across the street and to trees beyond. Good size kitchenette and we appreciated the milk and tea bags. We also appreciated the early check-in. The weak point of this place is the bathroom handbasin. It is tiny and there is no vanity bench.Also can I suggest some new coat hangers? You'll see from the listed photos that the outside steps are steep, which is not necessarily a problem but there are two things to look out for. Firstly, the depth of the tread. It is very narrow so you have to walk sideways otherwise you'll tear the leather off the back of your shoes. Secondly, there is no handrail. That said, the room has a great heat pump so it's lovely and warm. The bed is super comfortable with good linen and there are plenty of fluffy towels. It's conveniently located close enough to the airport and the city centre - both an easy Uber ride away. The Hataitai village shops are within easy walking distance.Shelley was good to deal with and she responded quickly to my questions.We would definitely consider staying here again.

The studio was spotless, clean, cosy and comfortable. Julie was very welcoming and helpful. It had everything we needed. Great views of the harbour from the bay window.

My mum and sister's stay was perfect. It was homely, spacious, private and had every necessity needed and more. Pam and Chris's hospitality was very warm and welcoming. It was by far a great experience to stay off grid and the bach was so comfy and warm it felt really homey. The surrounding area was breathtaking i walk straight out and go diving and fishing. Me and my wife enjoyed our stay and would book in the future. Thank you christine for letting us stay.

Nice , quiet , slept so well .

We loved our stay - Richard the owner was great at communicating with us, the property was as advertised and it is in a great location. Quick and easy to catch the bus to town or wander down to Hataitai village. The house is in a peaceful spot with lots of greenary and birds so it’s super relaxing. We also loved the open fire on a cold evening.

A lovely cosy cottage, very comfortable bed and a great shower. Very clean and eveything we needed for a long weekend in wellington.Thank you Robyn.
