About this property

Large 5 star barn conversion on Exmoor

Set in the Exmoor National Park, this beautiful property is nestled in its own tranquil valley surrounded by 450 acres of Exmoor farm and woodland.
The 18th century Granary offers eight luxurious en-suite double or twin rooms spread across three floors, and with a vaulted double height living area at its heart, complete with wood burner.
Outside, the Granary has its own lawned gardens, complete with enticing hot tub, heated outdoor swimming pool (summer) and children's play area.
The property is located at the heart of this large organic, regenerative farm - itself cocooned in the centre of the National Park. There's zero traffic noise, stunning star gazing at night, and a comfy bed to snuggle up in at the end of a day's fun and relaxation.
This is 'proper holiday' stuff, even if you're only able to stay with us for a few nights.

Beautiful property
What a lovely house. Perfect for our large group, with all the towels, robes, utensils we needed. The owners left us a lovely welcome gift of local produce, and were super helpful when we had a couple of issues. Highly recommend!

Family break
I honestly can not recommend this property enough! We stayed in June for a family break, and it was amazing! David was very helpful in arranging activities including spa treatments, clay pigeon shooting and archery. The kids absolutely loved it and we are already planning on coming back next year!

Beautiful Place
We were a large group of 22, 18 of us stayed in the beautiful Granary barn conversion & 4 of us stayed in the B&B. The internet photos of the Granary don't do it justice. It is a very large property & is beautifully done out with very high quality finish. It is the best equipped property I have ever stayed in. The bedrooms are large & the beds are very comfy. Each bedroom is like a hotel room & all have en suites. We had several children and teenagers & they really enjoyed spending time in the hot tub. The 4 people who stayed in the B&B were also very satisfied with their stay. The B&B is more rustic than the Granary but is very cosy and charming and had a lovely open fire burning. We also chose to have a meal in the B&B for my 40th birthday & I would highly recommend this. The home cooked food tasted amazing & the deserts were something else. A lot of the vegetables were grown on the farm & you could really taste this. The guests who stayed in the B&B were very happy with their breakfasts & said there was a lot of choice Diana and David, the couple who own & run these two properties, were lovely and very attentive whilst giving us privacy to enjoy our holiday. The properties are in a beautiful location & perfectly located on Exmoor National Park, close to Dunster Castle & not far from Minehead. I would highly recommend both properties. The Granary is perfect for large groups and is incredibly grand and spacious, whilst the B&B is perfect for a peaceful getaway.

We're the latest generation of a family that has lived and worked on this beautiful organic farm for more than 300 years. We're proud of our heritage, our commitment to the environment we live in, and the place we're delighted to share with our guests. Ask us about our regenerative, organic farm, our plans to create a huge new woodland or any details about the property, its surroundings or the wider area - we'd love to chat.

Why they chose this property

The Granary is a unique space. Once an agricultural building with incredible proportions, it has been lovingly converted into a luxury property, complete with huge, vaulted living space, perfect for big gatherings.
Each bedroom is en-suite, with an extra bathroom thrown in for luck, and the Granary's grounds boast a hot tub and decked seating area looking out across the large lawn, outdoor heated pool for summer use and our new children's play area to the Exmoor hills beyond. And yes, all this is for the exclusive use of the Granary's guests.
The property is set in the heart of this organic, regenerative farm - itself cocooned in the centre of the National Park. There's zero traffic noise, stunning star gazing at night, and a comfy bed to snuggle up in - it's proper holiday stuff, even if you're only able to stay with us for a few nights.
