About this property

38 Vila Castelo is a well presented town house on the popular Vila Castelo complex in Ferragudo. On entrance to the property there is a hallway with two bedrooms, the first bedroom has one double bed and newly renovated (2024) en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and the second bedroom has two single beds and newly renovated (2024) en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. Both bedrooms have split heating / air conditioning units on the walls.

There are stairs (with stair gate) leading up to the bright and airy lounge and dining area, here you will find a Smart TV with a selection of channels, you can login your Netflix for more TV options, one large comfortable L-shaped sofa and a stylish dining table and chairs. Just off the lounge/dining area there is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make it feel like home from home.

This property is really light throughout, we like to ensure everything is kept up to date to make it as comfortable as possible for our guests.

We love the terrace on our property, it is accessed from the lounge (via patio doors), the terrace is the perfect place to relax in the sunshine, there is a comfortable seating area and 4 loungers, there is also a dining table and 4 chairs and a electric canopy for shade. There is also a side terrace so you can get the sun in the mornings.

A great apartment, excellent location, clean and so well equipped even down to a melon baller! Comfortable beds and nice duvet covers and curtains, although the duvet was rather hot for September! Great sofa with plenty of seating. Terrace had choice of seating areas. Plenty of TV Channels. Nice welcome pack. Emma was so helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely property, spacious , well equipped, excellent starter pack (self catering) lovely pool - quiet- but we were just off peak season! great location, 10 mins walk to beaches or into old town/bars and restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Super centraal gelegen appartement! Ruime slaapkamers en badkamers en een groot terras. Je loopt zo naar zee en de andere kant op zit je direct in het dorp met super veel leuke restaurantjes. De property manager reageert snel en heeft leuke tips over de omgeving! Aanrader.

Why they chose this property

We chose Ferragudo as it still has that Portuguese charm with the small cobbled streets, cafes and bars. We love the main square with a mix of tourists and locals and we are very close to the beautiful beach Praia Grande with some excellent beach restaurants. We have easy access to Portimao and Praia Do Rocha by car or by boat taxi (in season) and very central to lots of other beautiful areas of the Algarve.

What makes this property unique

We chose this property because we wanted to be close to town without been right in the centre, it is ideally situated for the beach where there is a great selection of bars and restaurants and unless you want to explore the Algarve a car is not required.

The shared pool is great for cooling down, there are plenty of sun loungers around the pool so it's ideal for relaxing whilst the children play.
