This apartment has one bedroom with a Queen size orthopedic bed and safe box, a bathroom with shower, a lounge with a couch and a chair, a wardrobe plus an electric radiator, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room with a gas stove, refrigerator, table and chairs. There is also a patio with a transparent roof and a second bathroom with a bath tub and a washing machine in the cellar. Comfortable bedlinen, towels, a hair dryer, an iron with ironing board, kitchen utensils are all provided as well as free Internet. There is also a smoke detector and a monitored alarm system for your safety. The apartment has an independant entrance and is located in a quiet neighbourhood at only two blocks rom the main square in the historic center. It is 5 minutes to walk to the Plaza de Armas and 15 minutes to walk to Saqsaywaman. The apartment affords great views over the historic center of Cusco. On special request a thrid person can stay in the apartment, we have a spare mattress and bedding in the dressing room.

Nice location

Oda was very responsive as we prepared for our trip and during our stay. We had no problems and found the location to be excellent. We made good use of the washing machine!

Beautiful View

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and beautiful bedding and sheets. Large bathroom with fluffy towels. Important water provided. Note to Seniors. Impossible hill to walk from town. Taxi only way up! Also difficult entrance steps. Owners very responsive when we ran out of gas for hot water.

The apartment worked well for our week in Cusco.

The pictures show the apartment exactly. A large bouquet of long stemmed gladiolus sat in a corner of the living room; in the kitchen and bedroom were vases of carnations. The most positive aspects were the large, stylish bathroom, comfortable bed, washing machine with drying racks, reliable Wifi -and two electric heaters! The view from the living room is very nice. The kitchen was basically equipped; the living room furniture could be more comfortable. The apartment is quiet- except for the alarm system that went off early one morning while we still slept. When it happened again, the technician came and turned the system off. Negotiating the steps at the entry off the street demanded care and concentration. Even the small steps between rooms required awareness. The walk down the hill to Plaza de las Armas was quick and easy but the return uphill took more time and more puffing.

Lovely Peruvian apartments in a great location.

Great location on top of the hill just a short walk from the main square. The apartment has a washing machine and cook top. We were happy to find fresh drinking water with plenty of coca tea too. It was a great place to call home for a few days.

Perfect place to stay!

This was the absolute PERFECT location for my wife and I to stay on our trip to Cusco. We were so comfortable and immediately felt at home here. Oda and Armando are very pleasant and very easy to contact. Oda even booked a tour for us through her company! Not only is their place super clean, the decor and views are beautiful. It is so close to everything in the center of Cusco as well! The surrounding areas/streets are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. One of the best parts for us was the access to a washing machine. It made packing for our two week trip to Peru so much easier! On top of that, the big bed is extremely comfortable and the hot water always worked. Oda and Armando took it the next level when they surprised me with a small birthday gift after noticing my birthday on my passport. It was so thoughtful and it really meant a lot to me. That kind of service goes a long way! We stayed at three different apartments and cities during our time in Peru, and Oda's apartment and Cusco were easily our favorite spots in our travels. Thank you again! Ps - we fell in love with Organika which is just down the block. Great coffee, salads, and pastas there!

I live in Cusco where I run a tour operator (Vegetarian Peru Adventures) and work as a free-lance guide. I also own a Lodge (Andean Spirit Lodge) near Limatambo at 1 1/2 hour's drive from Cusco which is a great place to recharge one's batteries. In my free time I love to cook vegetarian delicacies and make jams, pickles and chutneys, enjoy the gardens at my guesthouse or curl up with one of my cats reading a good book. I feel happiest in nature and away from the crowds.

Why they chose this property

The apartment I am renting has been my former home. I have renovated it and put a great amount of care into creating a space that is modern and comfortable with all the creature comforts whilst preserving the rustic character of the building. When travelling I love staying in places with personality (I hate nothing more than soulless hotels) and naturally I have created a space which I would like to rent myself if I was a tourist in Cusco... The apartment has a very comfortable mattress with good quality bedsheets, a feather quilt and warm alpaca blankets, a nice newly built big bathroom with a shower plus an extra bathroom with a bath tub and washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker and a covered patio with chairs where you might relax in the warmer hours of the day. I also provide you with a big radiator for the colder hours...

What makes this property unique

Situated in the heart of Cusco this place has great views of the center and the surrounding mountains. It has a genuine Inka wall in the main bathroom, too. The location is unbeatable, only 5 minutes or two blocks from the main square and the main area of the restaurants and shops. Saqsaywaman isn't that much further away, you can reach it in only 15 minutes on foot. Although Calle Suecia is now part of the pedestrian area you can reach the property by taxi as it is right at the corner with Don Bosco street where the Colegio de los Salesianos is located.
