Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bedroom: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request) and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Outbuilding with freezer (shared with other properties on-site).. Patio with BBQ. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and garden furniture (shared with 2 Croft Cottage). 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. These three lovely semi-detached cottages, offer dog friendly accommodation, and are nestled behind the local pub in the heart of the village of Stillington in rural North Yorkshire. Set half way between York and Helmsley and with the market town of Easingwold only 3 miles away the cottages are perfectly placed for couples or a small family wanting to enjoy this beautiful part of the country. All the cottages are open plan with a relaxing sitting area. The kitchens are well planned and well-equipped with a dining table to sit and enjoy home cooked evening meals. 1 Croft Cottage (UK10587) and 3 Croft Cottage (ref UK10589) have a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and both have a comfortable sofa bed for additional sleeping. 2 Croft Cottage (ref UK10588) has a large double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower over bath. 1 Croft Cottage has seating area to the front of the cottage, while 2 Croft Cottage and 3 Croft Cottage both have an enclosed lawned area to the front, where you can sit and enjoy morning coffee or al fresco dining after a long day exploring the local area.
The village of Stillington has many amenities including several pubs, restaurants and a Post Office selling local produce and fresh meat. With a social club and a large antiques showroom there is certainly plenty to keep you busy. There are many miles of public footpaths and bridleways crisscrossing the countryside, and with the Howardian Hills only a few miles away it makes the cottages great for dogs. Stillington is also close to Thirsk, Helmsley, Harrogate and Knaresborough and has a great local bus service which will connect you to all of North Yorkshire.
The historic city of York is a must visit destination with attractions for all the family, from the famous Jorvic Viking Centre and the National Railway Museum to York’s Chocolate Story and York Minster. York’s winding streets and medieval buildings are world famous for playing host to hundreds of independent shops and restaurants. Indeed the coffee culture in York is well established with many eateries offering outside seating areas allowing you to watch the world go by. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 10 yards.
