Fully fenced private romantic and quiet home in Lana'i City.
About Jordanne Perkins
I purchased this property in 2004 and fully renovated it in 2009/2010. My original intent was that it was to be my dream home. A small, intimate property with everything you need and desire to enjoy island life. I kept everything from the original property that I was able to keep to continue the original plantation energy of the home such as the beadboard ceiling and walls. The home is fully double wall insulated with new windows to keep the sound of the roosters at bay for a lovely night sleep. Due to falling in love, I now live in Maui but, since we fell in love in Lana'i we have chosen to keep this special property to share with other like minded individuals who desire to fall in love with the island as much as we did. I am a successful artist who is married, owns the Jordanne Gallery in Makawao, Maui and has two young children. I have been a successful artist since 2003 where I spent years from 2002-2012 showcasing my artwork at The Four Season Hotels on Lana'i and residing in this special home for many of those years.

Why Jordanne Perkins chose Lanai City
This home is a special home away from home. Close to town, close to wonderful amenities and lovely vistas and fun expeditions. A wonderful, quiet, safe place to enjoy your evenings and days when not exploring the island. A perfect oasis within a fully fenced property which creates privacy for both an intimate couple of 2 or families or friends to be together under one roof to share in the Lana'i peacefulness. There is no other home which is like this and created with such love, attention to detail, Lana'i stone, Lana'i elements, and artistic design while continuing to hold true the original 1930's plantation feel which is a special part of staying in Lana'i City. When the home was renovated even the additional ceiling was hand created in order to keep the original ceiling in tact. All doors are also the original 1930's plantation home doors which are no longer made. Please enjoy fully this special property. Mahalo! - Jordanne

The Artist's House is a hidden gem. This is our second stay here because it is charming, comfortable, clean and only a short distance to downtown. We love spending time on the lanai which offers a cool breeze and is beautifully landscaped. Thank you for another good experience on your island!
Aloha Alysha! Thank you for choosing to stay here a second time and for appreciating both the special and unique qualities of the home and the island. We love having you and hope you choose to stay next year. Mahalo!
What an amazing find! A private oasis tucked away in a quiet neighborhood just blocks from the village center. The house itself embodies a rich history while also hosting plenty of modern creature comforts. Jordanne was wonderful, and always tended to our inquiries with professionalism and a healthy dose of island warmth. Thank you so much, we will definitely return!
Thank you so much Jeff for such an amazing eloquent review. That's the way I feel about my home and am so happy you were able to express the true beauty and uniqueness the home embodies. Your words are perfect. I was happy to be able to help in anyway. You were a great guest as well and hope you come back to our special island of Lana'i.
A few days on lovely Lanai
4 of us enjoyed our time at this home in Lanai City. Jordanne was available when we had questions and she helped us locate a jeep rental when availability was quite limited. Her home is lovely, a bit of old Hawaii in a quiet neighborhood (we never saw or heard neighbors). We'd recommend this home to others.
Aloha Betsy! It was a pleasure hosting you. It’s nice to be able to offer a couple of Jeep contacts to be able to see the island and have the fun of trekking! It’s a special part of what the island has to offer. Jeep rentals are limited and glad I was able to offer this referral service to you. So happy you enjoyed staying at the home and found it to be quiet and peaceful and although renovated, still have that Hawaii feel! Mahalo and please come again,
Jordanne was a wonderful host. She was very attentive
Thank you for your positive review.
So happy you enjoyed your stay at the home and on the island. I was happy to be able to help in anyway possible. Mahalo!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Artist House. Learned more History of the Island. Everyone had their own space. I liked the location cause it felt like we had our own privacy and not much traffic so it was quiet. Thanks for letting us stay there. Mahalos
I am thrilled you loved both the home and the island. The home is designed with small space design while still enabling privacy. It was a demanding design but, important and I'm glad you appreciated it!
This house was perfect
House was clean and owner was super easy to work with.
Aloha! Thanks for enjoying The Artists House! We make sure it’s like coming home to your own home! Glad it was perfect. I’m happy I was able to create a wonderful experience for you!
There are wonderful day trips to beautiful sites such as shipwreck beach, polihua beach (7 mile white sand beach pretty much in the middle of nowhere!), Garden of the Gods, Munroe Trail. Try to find the petroglyphs at shipwreck beach and see the turtles popping their heads up in the waters. Take a day or two to spend at Manele Bay, Hulopoe Beach - the most comfortable day beach with restrooms, picnic tables, bbq areas with a wonderful snorkeling reef, walk to Sweetheart Rock and even tide pools to check out some Hawaiian reef fish personally! The Four Seasons Hotel is a wonderful spot to eat some dinner or have a wonderful lunch. There is a free community pool, tennis courts and even golf that is only about a 10 minute walk away. Car rental and fishing expeditions easily available through property manager who is here to answer any questions and be of help and service to you during your stay. Trilogy is a wonderful boat company as well to take a day snorkel adventure where you are sure to see the spinner dolphins! Lana'i is a special island and The Artists Home is a wonderful place to come home to after fun adventures around the island or if adventures aren't your thing, the home is great to spend the day at relaxing and breathing in the wonderful Hawaiian air and spending a day in a serene environment.
