Major AC flaw

Air conditioner was a major problem. It had a 4 hour timer so we woke up in the middle of the night hot because the a/c would shut off after 4 hours. I realize electric is expensive in Maui but this is unacceptable for a 2nd floor unit that needs air conditioning.

Great location Poor condo management by owner

The location of the property is great. However, to owner has not taken care to update or repair the property. The room smelt of bleach when we arrived but cleaning details (grime on doors, kitchen stove, floorboards, ceiling and ceiling fans covered in dust/dirt) make the bleach smell just a cover. My aunt was eat up by something in the master bed. We were able to get new sheets delivered but we had to put them on ourselves. We told them of all the spare sheets and blankets smelling old and mildewed - they advised us to wash them in the miniature washing machine. I didn’t come on vacation to do other peoples laundry. Location is great. 2nd floor unit with stair walk up and dedicated parking which is a bonus. But the care for the unit is MUCH to be desired.

Why is expensive. Given that this was a reasonably priced condo. We could not expect much. It was nothing fancy, but it meet our needs and was in an excellent location.

Location Good

Only good thing about this property is location. The unit itself is very outdated and needs to get remodeled soon. Hot water was working, things are falling apart. There is no AC in the rooms either. Bathrooms really need work.
