It is within a 12,000 m2 property, has its own private garden, with a countryside horizon of local vegetation and pine trees. Very quiet location with stunning views of the Serra de Sintra (mountains), located near the beaches of Guincho, 15 min walk (900 meters) or 1 min drive, ideal for a combined beach and country holiday.

From the large swimming pool, you have a beautiful wide view of the Sintra Mountains. You have a separate garden but can access the large garden without leaving the property.

A 15 min walk (900 meters) will take you to the Guincho beach, Cresmina Beaches. Located in a sparsely populated area and near the Natural Park of Sintra - Cascais, keeps most of its natural and wild nature. You can wander through the wild dunes and along the coast to reach the beaches. Ideal for strolling by the sea, by the countryside or through the Sintra Mountains, and perhaps reach the Peninha Convent.

Guincho beach is ideal for surfing, wind and kite surfing and bodyboarding. Nearby there are health clubs, several tennis courts and golf courses, being the closest one slightly over 1 km from VILLA AREIA-GUINCHO. There are 4 horseback riding clubs within a 1 km distance.

Guincho and the town of Areia, have excellent restaurants offering the best choice of fish and seafood dishes and of regional and international dishes, just a 15-20 min. walk from VILLA AREIA-GUINCHO. There is a bus stop 600 m from the house that goes to the center of Cascais, 6 km away. However, it may be more convenient to drive.

In the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, Cascais, a fishing village, was the summer residence of the Portuguese monarchy, and during World War II constituted shelter to the European Nobility. Along the Costa do Estoril-Cascais you will find its known beaches.

Just a short drive away, encircling the sea and enjoying the mountains, you will find small towns worth a visit and the most western point of Europe, Cabo da Roca, before reaching the charming historic town of Sintra. Here you can visit its beautiful palaces and gardens, where the Portuguese monarchy, also spent their summer holidays.
