About this property

In the historic center, next to the Church, in a building dating back to the 18th century, with eighteenth-century frescoes and original tile flooring. View of the church, the square and the sea from the master bedroom.
With a total of 5 beds + possibility of a cot.
With equipped kitchenette (oven, hob, fridge / freezer, kettle, toaster), table and chairs for up to 6 people and bathroom with tub / shower. Flat screen TV and washing machine. One double bedroom and one twin bedroom, plus a sofa bed.
If necessary we also provide high chair and cot.

Very close to the sea and playground (30 m from the beach!). In the heart of the historic center of Monterosso.

Monterosso al Mare old town near the main Church. The town is closed to main traffic. Right in the heart of the historic center, the house offers the charm of a building built in the mid-700s. Fresh and comfortable 2nd floor: two-bedroom apartment with a view of the square and the typical "old street". Fully equipped kitchen, table and chairs for 6+ people, toaster, kettle, washing machine. Fridge. Flat TV.

Wish we were still there

We chose Monterosso because we’d heard it has the best beach of the five. The apartment is on the main plaza, maybe 100 yards from the beach, and all the shops and restaurants spoke off the plaza. Apartment was beautiful with everything you need, including washing machine. It’s a short walk (max 10mins) along the beach from the train station. There are single and multi-day train tickets to see the other towns, and the trains come regularly. The boats run in good weather only, FYI. Host was great and lives nearby, and happy to help with any questions.

Comfortable and handy

Everything we needed for 4 to stay a few nights. Handy washing machine and clothes line. Clean and wonderful location. Coffee percolator and fridge were great. The microfibre sheets were a first for us- not our favorite but we hear some people really like them.
