The property is in an ideal location. It is close to the river and a lovely walk to the canal basin and surrounding areas. It is so easy to get into the town on foot and also to walk to the supermarket. It only takes about an hour to walk along the river to Bewdley too. The property is clean, very well equipped and comfortable. We had everything we needed for an extended stay and really enjoyed being here.
We had a great weekend celebrating a family birthday. House was perfect for us and much bigger than we expected. Some of the facilities could do with being fixed E.g door for dishwasher and kitchen tap. But having said that, absolutely value for money and had everything we could of needed. Garden was lovely and a pleasure to sit in in the morning with a coffee.
Without a doubt would recommend.
We are on a visit to see family and friends in the local area and found this to be the ideal location. Dave was very helpful throughout the whole process and we had a thoroughly great time.
Lovely clean house with well equipped kitchen and plenty of clothes storage space and hangers.
Great landscaped gardens make for nice spaces to sit and relax front and back. Kids loved the friendly cat that kept appearing outside! Lots to do in the area- several national trust properties within easy reach, fun rides in Stourport by the river. Museum in Bewdley was good and free, as was Tudor House museum in Worcester and the cathedral there was spectacular.
Lovely food at the Dog in Dursley not far away.
Only suggestion for improvement would be to provide kitchen staples such as salt, pepper and cooling oil- these may have been removed due to the pandemic but are so handy to have supplied. A second tea towel and extra toilet roll or two would also have been good. Overall though we can’t grumble as had a lovely stay at a fair price. Dave was very helpful and welcoming.
We very much enjoyed our stay. At the time, the bed in our room had a few broken slats and the mattress was quite thin, but we were assured it would be fixed soon after we left.
Stayed in the house for 4 nights. We used it as a base to visit the Severn valley. The house is well positioned too access both sides of the river easily. The house was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. There are 3 good sized bed rooms and a large kitchen and bathroom.
Lovely house, friendly owner. Lots to do while we were there. Are planning on coming back later in the year with the rest of the family for a break. Thankyou Dave.
We had a lovely time in this spacious cottage with family. It was ideally situated and we enjoyed the walk along the river into town. Would highly recommend the Angel Inn just a 10minute walk away and the fair/crazy golf/play park too. There is so much you can visit within a short drive. Dave was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks for having us to stay.

lovely place
We spent a few days in Stourport on Severn and it was a wonderful time for us to relax and have fun with our children. The owner of the house is very friendly and helpful, and the house itself is very cozy. Furnished as if someone was going to live there year round, with full equipment. Plus for your own pond with the possibility of fishing, the world is like from a fairy tale. We highly recommend.

Excellent property
Ideal property. We were visiting family in Droitwich Spa and surrounding areas and found this property's location 1st class for our needs. The accommodation was clean and well equipped and the enclosed rear garden made an excellent sun trap! Dave the owner greeted us on arrival and proved to be a wealth of local knowledge. Our dog Seamus enjoyed his daily walks on the nearby common and the kids enjoyed the local fair attractions and the park. I would definitely recommend this property! The only negative...the hoover wasn't great and the lack of Wi-Fi but then again who wants to 'hoover' on holiday! I would return to this property in the future as I found it adequate for our needs and good value for money.

Enjoyable and comfortable accomodations.
On our previous trips to England we stayed with friends in Stourport. This trip we took our granddaughter and needed the space and flexibility. Found this listing on line and had our friends check it out before booking. It has more than enough room and is quite comfortable. The cottage is centrally located in the Midlands and is only a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive to Stonehenge, Bath, Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, The Cotswolds and Wales. We used the fireplace every night to get rid of the chill. Cottage holds heat very well and usually did not have to turn the heat on until the morning. The only negative is there is no WiFi, With today's connectivity requirements for banking, messaging, etc. it was inconvenient to have to go to our friends house to get connected.
Would I stay here again? You bet.

Parfait!

Leuke gezellige woning.

great cottage, great location and relaxed service
This is a first rate place, and great to stay in with a young family. Great location as well, short stroll to the centre of pretty Stourport along the river, with easy acces to Worcester (where our relatives were).
Dave, the owner greeted us at the agreed time, and was more than welcoming - always a nice feature after a long drive.
The property was clean, and excellently equipped.
The layout is great, with nice modern kitchen and plenty of room for us and the kids (2 small ones). Facilities are good, with everything you could need in the kitchen, which, having stayed in a number of holiday cottages is not always the case.
Garden is lovely for the kids to run around in (mine did!), and woudl be great for a BBQ is the weather is good (unfortunately, not quite warm enough for us, but hopefully next tim we stay it will be).
Don't be fooled by the pictures, this place is certainly larger than it looks.
The best recommendation I can give is that we would stay here again without a shadow of a doubt.
The only tiny negative is a lack of wifi (however, my wife sees this as a postitive, so that could just be me :)) nd to be honest, I can livce without it in such a great place.

What an excellent place!
All of our trips to England my family has never been in a better place than this lovely holiday home was. When we stepped inside, my daughter (18 years) said: "What a lovely home, let's move in here."
We really enjoyed the house and kindness what our rental couple showed us. There is also pretty close Go Ape Adventure in Wyre forest. That actually was a real adventure high up in trees.
All six of us spent a wonderful week and sure will recommend this property to everyone. So lovely garden as well. Stourport on Severn was a pretty little town with nice restaurants.
