About George Loomis
Diane and George are from Greenwood, Minnesota and bought this home for our eventual retirement. In the meantime, we treasure several weeks each year there with our two children and five grandsons, and hope that you will have the same wonderful experiences.

Why George Loomis chose Sunset Captiva
If you're looking for excitement, Captiva would be a mistake. But if you choose to relax and find everything you need in range of an easy walk, it should be your first choice.

Great beach house lovely location
Great beach house, wonderful porch, lovely location but the carpets can use cleaning and the beds are too soft and uncomfortable to sleep on!
Great location, great maintained community and very nice house with an excellent floor plan
We felt “home” from the very first minute. Loved it!
Very comfortable & clean. Plenty of beach stuff, even had a wheelbarrow to carry it in.
Loved the place
This is a very nice house to stay at. We loved all two weeks of it. The only this that I can say needs attention is the small ants that are in the kitchen. A pool at the house would have been a plus but there is one around the corner. Like I said we love this place and we will be back.
Can't wait to return!
This was our first trip to Captiva Island, and we loved it so much we booked to go back again next year. Sunset Captiva 47 was the perfect home for our family. It is very spacious, and we appreciated having the extra room for our family of four. I was in several of the other houses in the community, and this home was the best use of space out of all of them. The home is well maintained and had everything that we needed. There were plenty of beach toys, nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs, and a cart to transport everything to the beach which is just a quick walk. Our kids, ages 12 and 10, loved the community and the close proximity to Andy Rosse where they were able to walk by themselves for ice cream daily. I highly recommend Sunset Captiva 47!
Very clean and up to date, bargain for the money.
Number 47 is the premier property at Sunset Captiva, I've stayed in a lot of them. The owners keep it in top shape and the cleaning crew does a superb job. Property is close to about any activity/restaurant desired. We have already book again for next year.
