Like all of our other beautiful Dwellcome Home properties, this great property has every single base that a business or leisure traveller needs covered and retains the really homely feel of all of our places which is reflected in all of our reviews.

Being well travelled for business and pleasure myself both with and without my children I know what it takes to make a place homely for both adults and kids alike and that is my aim for all of our properties, to create a home away from home for all, whether you are here for business or pleasure.

Situated directly above our more established Apartment B - see almost 100 reviews (5/5) for that property for assurance, AND our BRAND (in December 2021) NEW GROUND FLOOR Apartment A as well, this place is almost identical to those! Ideal for longer-term stays, please contact us at DWELLCOME HOME if you are interested and we can look at long term discounts or for regular visitors (e.g. Relocation, insurance, corporate or contractor bookings) seeking luxury serviced accommodation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We strictly do not accept bookings from large non-family groups (folks coming to the area to party!). I have had to remove guests in the past, police involved, etc and have measures in place to prevent this from occurring again so please do not try to book unless you are the right type of guest.

As with all of our properties my objective is to provide somewhere, I would want to (and routinely do) stay with my children. Good quality furniture, linen, towels and soft furnishings are provided throughout and brand new Silentnight memory foam mattresses are provided on all beds with mattress protectors. Which have received excellent reviews from 100s of client reviews and countless others from other booking sites, many people saying it is the best night sleep they have ever had.

It's all about location with this apartment, being in a really quiet street in the lovely west end neighbourhood yet only a 10 minutes walk to the city/Union Street and the apartment also comes with a free off-road private parking space for guests to use during their stay.

Secure entry from both front and back doors (back door direct from off-road car park behind complex - the flat has one dedicated parking space.

The layout is from entering the front door; the lobby with coat hanging space, two good sized double bedrooms (one also has an additional single bed - with bedside cabinet/lamps, mirrored sliding wardrobes/hangers, ample drawer space in chest of drawers) to the left, bathroom with combination boiler fed mains powered shower, straight on and living room and fully equipped kitchen to the right.

The whole place is very bright with plenty of windows allowing natural light in. The main living space with natural wood flooring laid to form a lovely modern lounge space.

The lounge has a comfortable brown leather sofa with a coffee table. Smart TV with NETFLIX, etc for chilled out evenings in.

The kitchen has a fridge freezer, full-size dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, cafeteria and toaster. Also has washer (with detergent) concealed in cupboard with iron/ironing board, cleaning products/utensils. It is very well equipped with a good range of pans, casserole dishes, a slow cooker, etc. A dining table sits 4.

A selection of tea, coffee, sugar etc is provided.

A good quality hairdryer is also provided.

There are double beds in each relatively large bedroom, each able to sleep 2 persons, plus a single bed in the main bedroom, therefore, the maximum capacity is 5 adults. There is also built-in sliding mirrored wardrobe doors in each bedroom so there is plenty of storage for those wanting to stay longer durations with more personal belongings.

NOTE: Unlike many serviced accommodations we have central heating controlled by our guests to maintain a cosy temperature, NOT ones which switch off after 2 hours so places can get very cold when going out of the place for a few hours or every night.

Week visit.
The apartment was clean. The furnishings were basic but functional. Kitchen had all the equipment we needed. Heating was initially difficult to work out, but the owner was easily available by phone and led us through. Good to have a washing machine, although a little difficult to dry clothes with no outside area.

Ideal Location
With a number of meetings in and around Aberdeen, Colin's flat in Claremont Street was ideally located. The flat was very clean, and the bathroom in particular was very modern.

What makes this property unique

The Neighbourhood: Situated centrally in the west end but in a really safe and quiet street with ample car parking.

The apartment is close enough for city based shops and offices and also for a busier night out in the city centre or for the many excellent more upmarket restaurants and bars of the west end. Also cool inde shops and cafes on my street (Claremont St - Long Dog Cafe, great if you are dog lovers and premium luxury retailer, Curated Stories, Aberdeens premium luxury retailer - my daughter is addicted to the place!) and St Swithins Street (Cafe Cognito, Coppa) are just round the corner.

There are ample amenities nearby, a great wee corner shop "The Grove" stocking a good range of local fresh produce, and a pharmacy on Union Grove; 2-3 mins walk away. A Sainsburys mini market, award winning Ashvale fish and chip take away/restaurant, and many shops, restaurants etc are a similar distance away on Holborn Street. There is a handy "Spar" mini market shop a few minutes walk away on St Swithins street also.
