Casa Antonio is a recently upgraded cottage set within lovely mature gardens in the village of Mures on the Granada/Jaén border. Mures has a mini-market and two popular bar-restaurants. Casa Antonio has two bedrooms upstairs, each with two single beds and plenty of storage space. All living and bedroom areas have ceiling or wall fans. A shower room with WC and washbasin is also upstairs and a bathroom with WC and washbasin downstairs. There is a large, well equipped dining kitchen, including a gas cooker, large fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A travel cot and two high chairs are available free of charge for the use of our younger guests.
The fully fenced-in 10m x 5m swimming pool has an automatic salt water chlorination system to minimise irritation to skin and eyes.
You can choose to laze by the pool, read a holiday novel in the hammock chairs, have a cuppa or drink in the patio or have a barbecue at the big table in the shade of our two walnut trees. If you fancy exploring the local area, Mures is surrounded by olive groves and native holm oak woodland which are great for walking.
The bustling town of Alcalá la Real, with its medieval Fortaleza de la Mota, is a ten minute drive away. Alcalá has a plethora of cafes, bars and restaurants, Mercadona, Lidl and Día supermarkets, as well as lots of other shopping options if you need anything.
Wider afield, Granada is a 45 minute drive away and Cordoba 90 minutes. We know both these cities fairly well and are happy to advise guests on any queries.
