NOTE: This property is generally a 30 day or more rental preferred, and rates are for 30 day stays, since zoning only allows me one rental per month. However, do sometimes allow shorter stays at a higher nightly rate, then block out the rest of the month. Shorter stays will have a higher nightly rate. NOTE SPECIAL RATES FROM MAY 13-JUNE 10, 2023 due to a gap between bookings.
This is a great location for enjoying all that Asheville offers and having a chance to live like a local! The neighborhood is from the 1920's era - close in yet tucked away so it's quiet and away from traffic. You can walk downtown through easy neighborhood streets or take a short Uber ride. There are also several wonderful restaurants right here in the neighborhood and easily a full selection of grocery stores ("Greenlife"/Whole Foods, Trader'Joe's and Harris Teeter about .7m away). Asheville YOGA Center & The Ayurvedic Institute is 4 blocks (.7m) away so it's a great place to stay for their retreats!
This home is the main level unit of a 3 level dwelling. It has been updated to preserve its 1920s charm while also providing modern conveniences. You will have over 1100 sq feet of private space including large living room, spacious kitchen with table for dining, 2 bedrooms - each with Queen bed , and a renovated bathroom. The home has all hardwood floors except for bath, which is new ceramic tile.
Although you will likely be drawn to do the many fun things that Asheville offers, unwinding at the end of the day will be comfy on the large sectional sofa, enjoying the 40" TV with a streaming stick to enjoy movies through your amazon, netflix, etc (no cable). Each bedroom also has 28" roku tv for streaming.
For relaxing outside there is a front garden area with mature landscaping to surround you and a table for your enjoyment. You'll have one off street parking spot behind the house. There is also on street parking.
Walk up to Grove Park Inn for dining, coffee, drinks and enjoy the stunning views....Easily stroll to Charlotte Street or Merrimon Ave for dining, or walk through those historic neighborhoods to get downtown, less than a mile away. It's a great neighborhood tucked away but still close to loads of things to do.
This is a somewhat of part-time listing at this property, as I use it myself, but I have two other vrbo listings as well with many great reviews: VRBO # 723258 and VRBO # 2825044. I also have one at Lake Keowee (SC): VRBO # 1309909. My places will not be luxury or high end finishes, but they will be comfortable and inviting, and certainly far less expensive than a hotel room, but with much more space.
