About this property

Charming completely newly furnished holiday home on the water. Equipped with all comforts including excellent WiFi, fireplace, sauna, 50 "LED TV, Netflix. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, Nespresso. Bedrooms with luxury box spring beds. Separate Sauna room. Upstairs with air conditioning and all bedrooms also with mosquito screens.
Large storage room with washer and dryer and space to store bicycles .(Electric) Bicycle rental possible; bicycles are delivered to your home.

Private moorings located in front of the house, with the possibility of combined renting a polyvalk sailing boat (6m), small sloop/boat (4m) with electric or petrol outboard engine and supboard (combideal).

The name of the house = Hyggehûs is taken from the word Hygge - (pronunciation: Huuge), the Danish variant of the Dutch terms cosiness and cosiness in combination with Hûs, which is Frisian for home.

There is a lot to do in Lemmer. After all, this old fishing village rightfully deserves the name Poort van Friesland and has many facilities, including water sports. This makes it an attractive maritime center. Many boats moor in the middle of the village. It is therefore fun to stroll along the original shops, often located in historic buildings. The cozy terraces along the quays are popular. People like to sit there, because the boats pass in front of them. The waterway through Lemmer is and remains a popular connection between the Frisian lakes and the IJsselmeer.

There are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling in the area through the slightly hilly landscape of Gaasterland or along the many beautiful lakes. Forests, open fields, the IJsselmeer coast and cities such as Sloten, Stavoren, Hindeloopen and Workum offer plenty of entertainment and relaxation in the area. In the area you can rent bicycles or boats to discover Friesland from land and water. You can also have fun in the area on the golf course, in the riding school or with typical Frisian sports such as Fierljeppen or Skûtsjesilen. On the coast of the IJsselmeer there are several sandy beaches where you can have a great time with the children on a beautiful summer day. There is a beautiful large children's playground in the neighboring village of Rijs.

Perfektes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus entspricht der Beschreibung. Unsere Erwartung wurde noch übertroffen, so ein sauberes, super ausgestattetes Haus haben wir noch nie gesehen. Es war nichts zu bemängeln. Wir können es nur empfehlen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und zuvorkomment.

Tolles Haus, schöne Lage am Wasser. Sehr ,sehr sauber. Sympathische Vermieter/in, immer hilfsbereit aber nicht aufdringlich. Netter Ort und tolle Umgebung, ideal zum Radfahren. Alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder!

A Wonderful Getaway for Sailing Adventures

Me and my family recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely vacation rental. We used this accommodation as a base for our sailing excursions, and it proved to be the perfect choice with a dock conveniently located right behind the house. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of comfort and contentment. The house itself was impeccably maintained, and it was evident that great care had been taken to ensure that guests would feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and there was nothing lacking during our stay. The interior of the house was tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living spaces were well-appointed, allowing us to relax and unwind after our adventurous days at sea. The bedrooms were comfortable and provided a peaceful haven for a good night's sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to the dock. Being able to easily access our boat directly from the property made our sailing adventures incredibly convenient and enjoyable. We were able to make the most of our time on the water without any hassle or wasted travel time. Hans, the owner of the vacation rental, was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about ensuring that our stay was a memorable one. We greatly appreciated his commitment and friendly demeanor. I wholeheartedly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a delightful stay in Friesland and particularly for those with a passion for sailing.

Lovely property

This is an extremely well equipped, peaceful and comfortable house, and we spent a lovely week there. The owner was very helpful in answering any questions we had, and as he was next door when we arrived he called to say hello and check if we had any issues. Lemmer is small but interesting town and we found plenty to do, The property is about a 30 minute walk from the town centre - an easy and pleasant walk during the day but perhaps not ideal if you want to go into town for dinner, But if you are ok with that then we would highly recommend this property.
