Beautifully presented large 2 bed room apartment sleeping up to 4. Yards from Ayr beach with sea and harbour views. Fully equipped kitchen and hotel bathroom. With security entry and private parking (on request) as well as elevator access the apartment is convenient and secure. Very clean modern apartment which we completely renovated in July 2018. It boasts 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a lovely lounge area and kitchen. We also have a balcony with sea views of the wonderful Ayr Coastline and beach. Ayr is the principal town in Ayrshire and offers visitors loads to do. Come and visit the heart of 'Burns' country.
Neighbourhood information The apartment is ideally located for the beach, harbour and town centre where you can find a wide range of shops, bars & restaurants. Citadel leisure centre is 2 mins walk away and caters for most fitness and sporting needs. It houses a public swimming pool, sports halls and gym. Ayrshire itself is famed for Rabbie Burns and there is plenty of tourist attractions to visit that tell the story of his life. Take a trip South along the coast towards Maidens and you will drive along cliff tops past the ruined Dunure Castle. Stop off at the Electric Brae where you can experience your car driving itself up hill. Further down the coast the majestic site of Culzean Castle comes into view, well worth a visit for all the family.

The property was great. Exactly as described and check in was very easy. The apartment has the most beautiful views over both the harbour and the beach. It was very quiet and is only a short walk to the town centre. We had a fabulous stay and wouldn't hesitate to return!!
There was nothing not to like about the flat. It was very reasonably priced, had a lovely view of the water and Arran, it is central enough and on the second floor. It was very clean. The only thing it lacked was a dishwasher but that’s not a big deal when there are only two of you.
My golf buddy and I had a quick and pleasant stay in Ayr. Apartment is a short walk from a bunch of restaurants and not far from the supermarket. Also very close to the beach and pier next to the harbor. Great to step out for fresh air on the small patio that has a great view. Elevator was handy for us to bring up golf bags & luggage. Apartment was well appointed and simple, just enough of the few things needed were where you'd expect. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
I had read previous reviews about the flat and was slightly apprehensive when I booked. Everything, however, turned out v well. The process for getting the keys was simple, Andy and Sue were v responsive and helpful. The flat itself was lovely, plenty of room, clean and a great view of the sea and Arran. It was also quiet, the port wasn’t a noise issue. We will return hopefully if the flat is available again.
I booked this property as there were 4 adults from 2 families and the write up stated 2 bathrooms. We didnt use the en-suite shower the day we arrived but found it not to be working the following morning so contacted the owner who did reply offering to look at it but then... nothing. I contacted him again incasr he hadnt received my reply (Friday) but nothing since. 4 of us usung one shower ...with no lock on the door. The accomodations cleanliness was.just ok...but everyone has different standards i guess. The windows are filthy with old newspaper filling a gap.in one of the window frames. The lovely pictures of the sea didnt include the dirty and rusty old dock area. Oh and no mention of it being right next to a working dock....wonderful to be woken by the sound of industry at silly oclock in the morning. Awful
No communication from the property owner, then found out on check in day that I was double booked
This property looked perfect for us. My booking was confirmed and money taken. Then despite numerous attempts to contact the property owner for the check in instructions, no response. After two calls to Vrbo, was advised on the day of check in that I had been double booked and that I couldn't stay at the property. I promptly received full refund but otherwise poor service.
Easy to access, lovely views to the front & Harbour.
10-minute walk to the centre of Ayr.
Peace & Quiet apart from the sound of the waves

Poor communication with host was before my stay was stressful
I loved the location and the flat was ok.
Kitchen wasn’t very clean and the cooker hob didn’t work at all, which was very disappointing especially as it was Christmas Day!
I didn’t even feel comfortable enough to call the host for help.
We booked for 3 nights to see family just before Xmas in Ayr, the apartment is lovely very tidy with all the things you’d expect.
Great location with lovely views & close to the town centre. Would definitely recommend
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights from the 8th July. Everything you could possibly need for our stay was there incl tea, coffee etc. Flat was spotlessly clean there was sea views in every room. We loved the balcony just sitting & staring out to the sea. We will definitely return & would highly recommend this beautiful apartment. Easy instructions to access the keys & also very secure door entry. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay, we really would love to stay again.
