Terribly damp
Prior to our arrival, I sent 2 messages querying Internet access. I didnt receive a response until 11am checking day when we are on route. There is no WiFi in the lodge, it is at the reception cabin at the bottom of the hill. You need to take your own towels and toilet rolls. At this point we had already left home. Upon arrival, we opened the door and was overwhelmed by the smell of damp, the entire lodge smells. The owners clearly know about it because there is a dehumidifier box in the main bedroom. Our clothes stunk and were damp. It looks like there has been a flood from the shower and the wardrobe against the wall smells terrible of damp from the water seeping through.Thankfully we were only staying 2 nights and planned 90% of our time out of the lodge. If we were staying longer we would have turned around and gone home. The damp is that bad the moisture was actually picked up on our mobiles and were having warnings from it. I wouldn't recommend staying there until the damp is cleared out, such a shame as a beautiful lodge and location.
