Stephens Cottage is situated in a truly wonderful location on the banks of the Cleddau Estuary within the hamlet of Llangwm Ferry, with truly stunning views enjoyed from your garden out across the ever-changing vista of the Cleddau Estuary, a bird and wildlife lovers paradise and set within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Llangwm Ferry is set at the end of a no through lane leading directly to the estuary, where a wealth of water sports can be enjoyed with kayaking, sailing, fishing or just exploring the shoreline looking for crabs and fauna. A 5-minute walk inland you will reach the coastal village of Llangwm, complete with village shop and a great traditional Welsh pub serving locally produced food and ales.
This spacious property offers fantastic countryside views and is teaming the original character throughout with beams, exposed stone walls, quarry tiles and solid wood flooring, making this property really stand out. The kitchen offers a great space to create that special meal with epic views down across the estuary below. For keen walkers the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coast footpath are waiting to be discovered. For a step back in time take a trip to visit Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry VII and also the venue for many open air concerts throughout the year. Here you can relax and take in some food at a plethora of eateries specialising in home grown local produce. Travelling south, Pembrokeshire’s dramatic coastline including Freshwater East, Barafundle Beach and Manorbier are not to be missed. The coastal resort of Tenby with its cobbled streets, trips to Caldey Island and a picture postcard harbour really is a perfect spot to explore. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, Heatherton World of Adventure and Folly Farm Adventure Zoo all offer the perfect day out for your family and are within 30 minutes. Beach 11 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
