2 Br Unit with 2 bathrooms and kitchenette conveniently located on the 4th floor
Great Location close to popular Pier Park

Building location: only 0.4 miles west of Pier Park, many guests walk rather than drive. Walk to many popular restaurants and shops, including Dusty's Oyster Bar. Don't forget all the great restaurants at Pier Park: Margaretville, Pompano Joes, Wild wings, Dave and Busters, Ron Jon Surf Shop, and many more.

Condo location in the building: low 4th floor provides view of Gulf from west end unit side balcony. Ever have trouble with elevators at the beach? Avoid them completely with only two flights of stairs from 2'nd floor walk over.

Building amenities: plenty of covered garage parking with walk over on second floor, nice exercise room with gulf view open 7 AM- 9 PM, beautiful pool and whirlpool just steps from the beach, wine and juice bar, helpful lobby and security day and evening.

Condo specifics: Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One bedroom has two queen beds, TV, and desk with storage in lower section of each bed with full bath just outside of bedroom. Second bedroom has a king size bed, large TV, stereo, separate bathroom and a love seat that can be opened to a twin bed that can sleep one adult or two small children. In between bedrooms there is a large kitchenette with a full refrigerator, sink, toaster over, microwave, electric portable cooking appliances and coffee maker. There is a small balcony off of the kitchen with a side view of the gulf. High speed WIFI and cable television provided.
Must be 25 or couple or family to rent.

Electronic lock provided: no need to check in at lobby or carry around keys! Just find the room and enter the code. For added security you are the only one to ever have your code.

Smoking and Pet Policy: Absolutely NO SMOKING and NO PETS allowed. Security deposit will be forfeited for such infraction.

Dirty, not as advertised

Upon arrival, we found that the 'two’ bedroom unit was actually one room with a door and one open room. It did not have a door. We were traveling with my husband’s parents who are 75-76 and expected their own room. They had no privacy. No where in the description did it state that the 2nd room didn’t have a door. The couch area is in the open bedroom area– so, there was nowhere to sit except at a little pub table in the mini kitchenette area in the walk through at the door with 2 stools. The ‘ocean front view’ was not as described. You have to overlook a grouping of transformers and to the far left to even see the water. AND then, the dumpsters are directly below, and smelly. SO, we were forced to stay inside our unit, no view and only window was towards the road. I texted owner after not reaching VRBO. I then called her after waiting over an hour. I asked her if she had received my message and she said yes. She chose not to respond. In the beds I found blood, pubic hairs, dried yellow stains, dirt, hairs, bugs and who knows what else. They were NASTY!!! I took photos and filed a prompt dispute with the credit card company. Seriously disgusting. We were going to just strip the beds, and we bought new sheets to sleep on. We were going to use the extra blankets….but even the mattress cover had gross stains and then there was BLOOD on the extra blankets, too!!! The comforters were spotted, dingy and just overall gross. Then, in the bathrooms they were spotted with diarrhea and blood in both bathrooms. And the showers were mildewed and hairs in the tub. It’s not too much to ask for a clean room. ESPECIALLY WITH COVID. SO, after cleaning the place MYSELF; we decided to try to make the best of it. But that was just the start. In the unit, there is a thermostat at the front door. There wasn’t any air in back room. We purchased a fan, but it was miserable. After the first 3 nights, we texted the owner again. He said that the air for that part was in the owner's unit!!!!! It had been off the entire time! They turned it on, but the next night it was off again for the rest of the stay. There is another door to owners unit locked from their side. It was opened and someone said 'maintenance' and I told them to leave now. Invasion of privacy. So, needless to say...not as described: no view, bad smell, no doors, dirty and overall unpleasant.

Great condo

Condo is in an excellent location and love that it’s on the 4th floor. I slept on the king size bed and it’s very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Owner was very helpful as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Not a 2 bedroom

This is a 1 bedroom condo with 2 beds in the bedroom with a converted living room (with NO door for privacy) as the master bedroom. It is advertised as a 2 bedroom, sleeps 6. It can sleep 6, but it is very tight. No laundry facilities (owner did let us use his washer and dryer in his neighboring unit 1 time.) Kitchen is a kitchenette with a 2 person table. Difficult to make dinner and eating we basically ate standing up. No family dinner on a family vacation. No living room. We had 6 people (4 teens, 2 adult). For a week vacation we wanted a place so everyone could lounge and relax as needed. We just couldn't do that unless everyone laid on a bed. For the pricing we would have paid 30/more a night and stayed in a different condo. The condo was clean and location was great. We just wish the description would explain more. Again this is actually a 1 bedroom condo. If you are planning on eating out the whole time might not be a bad choice. Pack extra towels and clothes for the beach.

Honest Review- The Good / Not So Good

The Good- This is a CLEAN, nicely decorated, efficiency unit. It is in a great location with covered (additional $20.00 a day) parking. It’s within walking distance to Pier Park. It has an efficiency kitchen that is well stocked. Meal prep was not an issue for us. It was a great price for peak season. The owner is very nice, and lives on site. They have an app that is user friendly and provides all the information you will need along with info about the area. The Not So Good- There are only 4 elevators for the entire property, so they are extremely slow. This unit is on the 4th floor. Other than check in/out, we used the stairs. The Concierge is available from 9-5. Check out is at 10. If you need to use carts to haul luggage, they are not available before 9. Take as much as you can to the car the night before check out. Avoid 4-6 p.m. because check in is at 4, and you will not have elevator access. Because of the elevators, check-in was horrible. Once your unit is available, they will notify you. If possible, check in early to avoid the congestion. The office closes at 5. If you have an issue after 5 (we did) it will not be resolved until the next day. It is difficult to get through to Management on the phone, but they are extremely responsive to email. There is not an in-unit washer/dryer or a laundry on-site. Take extra towels/ wash cloths. I requested a laundry swap with housekeeping mid-week. They did not pick up the soiled towels. The owner let us use his personal washer/dryer, which is extremely nice, and appreciated, but I was still frustrated with housekeeping for not swapping out towels/washcloths as requested. Side note- There is not a living space (noted in the description) in the unit. It worked fine for us, but if you spend a lot of time in the room, it might be a problem. There is a small love seat in the master bedroom that can be used, along with the bed, for a living space. There is a good sized TV in the master area, so you can watch a movie together if the weather keeps you inside. There is also a TV is the additional bedroom. Overall, I was satisfied with the unit, price, location, etc… I would stay at the location again, but I would definitely make adjustments, for my personal convenience, based on this experience.
