Waterfront 2 BR, 1.5 bath beach home rebuilt in 1997 & renovated in 2012! X-large great room, large dining area with windows all around, front and back decks & back deck is waterfront! Brand new dock built in 2017! Fish right from your own property! Look down the canal to open water & enjoy spectacular sunsets! New in 2017 is entertainment system with control 4 system (Netflix, Pandora, satellite TV, all included with one touch of one controller) location of our house in the community is excellent as it is located walking distance to clubhouse, one of the pools/hot tubs and all activities. Nettles island community is an unbelievable place. A guard gated river community across the street from 250 ft. Private oceanfront beach. There are 2 amazing pools, one of them right at the beach. Tennis courts, great mini-golf course, shuffleboard, bocci ball, pickle ball. Beautiful clubhouse with grocery store on premises. Everything you need is here, its truly a one of a kind place for adults and kids! All you need is your clothes and a toothbrush. You wont be disappointed!

Week stay at nettles

We enjoyed the week at nettles island. The property manager was quick to provide response to our questions and check in was seamless. To improve overall experience, decluttering cabinets would help. Also the dishwasher requires u to roll it over to sink and hook it up so we did not use it. We will look for different property next year

What a mess

The carpet has many stains. There is mold on the ceilings in the bathroom with a shower. Not clean at all, dust on all ceiling fans and vents for AC. Blonds were nasty dirty. A lot of the window cranks broken letting in moisture. Had to pound in nails in porch to prevent damage to bare feet. Had to correct lock position for door clock on front slider. Had to clean stove and burners to stop smoking when used. Rust on all the heat registers. Windows very dirty coins not see out well. Nasty stains on the master bed. Very disappointed and should not be rented in this condition. Will never use Vrbo again.

We are the Michael and Maggie, we have have 4 boys under the age of 6. We live close to this house and absolutely love going there, we don't have enough tome to use it with all the boys activities but its always a special time when we head out to Nettles, the boys love the mini golf, the beach and fishing right off the back deck of the house and hopefully seeing some Manatees which swim by frequently
