Pros and Cons

Stayed for five nights with our 14 and 16 year olds. Not clear if there are pros to this place versus a hotel for a family of four. It's on the second floor, which is 39 steps off ground level. Great location and very comfortable beds. Extremely loud at night. The only way to sleep was with windows closed, which got hot. Filthy couch - I wouldn't count on having 7th and 8th guests sleep on it. Moldy, gross shower curtain. When we arrived, there was a kitchen knife in the shower, which I'm guessing may have been used to scrape mold off the walls. Really gross. Sticky, stained laminate kitchen counter that I wasn't able to get clean. Should be replaced. Nice to have a washing machine (pro to a hotel) but no dryer (despite it being listed in the VRBO post). Zero interaction with the property manager. We didn't spend much time in the apartment and, as I said, the location was fantastic. But overall I wish I had at least considered two hotel rooms as we left for the next part of our vacation absolutely exhausted from listening to drunks singing in the street well past 4 AM.

REFUND

I slipped in the bathroom because the pipes in the bathroom were completely clogged, which caused it to flood up to the corridor, hurting my knee, and with practically no opportunity to continue my vacation trip due to this inconvenience. There’s only one bathroom in the apartment, we were six people in my family group, and we were unable to take a shower or bath for the last three days. I made sure to send videos when requesting the refund to VRBO, and I’m still awaiting for an answer. In the same way that there were conditions with penalties for check-out, I requested a refund be imposed for this negligence of the landlord that caused me this physical damage. I am not claiming reimbursement for medical expenses, but only for what I paid as rent.

Découverte de Copenhague

Chouette découverte de Copenhague. Le lieu est très central et bien équipé sauf pour le café (pas de percolateur ni machine à café). L'eau chaude de la douche arrive après 10 minutes... quel gaspillage. Pour le reste, c'était parfait et spacieux.

Great location, comfortable beds, but other items lacking

Location: awesome, walk to everything but note the street outside is loud at night Really comfortable beds and sheets - nice! No real sitting area in front of the TV, just a single small and dirty/old loveseat which isn’t ok. Biggest cons: - no coffee maker, no french press, no instant coffee was in the house! We had to spend money on coffee out every morning except one (when they delivered a coffee maker for us to use one day). They only provide a water kettle and this in a country obsessed with drinking coffee(?) - mold in shower!! Moldy old shower curtain!! Gross! - told them we didn’t have hot water and nobody ever could be reached at building management to fix it which is NOT okay - BUT a tip if you stay here: we let the hot water run 10 minutes and it FINALLY got hot— otherwise we would have had to vacate this propery
