About this property

Pretty, Quiet and Peaceful

Thank your for having a look at my little cottage. It’s the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Set in a beautiful rural location with great access to Amersham and the surrounding towns. There are also some nice walks through the country nearby. Although best to have a car to get around, the cottage is also only a 15 minute walk to the train station, which will get you into London in under an hour.

The cottage is deep cleaned between guests.

Spacious cottage
All processes easy. Cottage as described. Parking good. Cleaned and felt safe on arrival. I didn’t find a hair dryer, but everything else required was provided. Location great for us as we have family close by.

Can’t wait to come back again
We really enjoyed our stay in Chris's beautiful cottage. The cottage just has everything we want, fireplace, bathtub and a breathtaking garden! Chris is very kind and thoughtful person, help for everything we needed. He also welcome us to bring our loving cat. The fireplace was so nice and warm , he prepared everything and also provided enough wood for our stay. The garden is so beautiful, especially in the sunny day. Everything was so peaceful and relaxing, to be honest, I don't want to leave at all. Love here so much ! We'll definitely come back again!

Home away from Home
My husband and I stayed in this wonderful property whilst our house was undergoing a renovation. We enjoyed every minute of this beautiful place. It is so peaceful and quiet, yet you can walk to town in under 15 minutes. Little Chalfont has many nice coffee houses and restaurants and all the amenities one would need. A short stroll away from the cottage you are in fields and we saw some great sunsets. We had our dog with us, who absolutely loved the garden, and was very welcomed. Chris was so helpful and responsive to every request. The cottage has a fabulous energy about it, and we immediately felt at home. We will definitely return, and were sad to leave this beautiful place.

Very pleasant experience
This is the perfect spot to get away from city life. The cottage and its surrounding gardens are beautiful. The manager is extremely helpful and very friendly. There are many lovely walks through green spaces to explore and supermarket/pubs/restaurants within walking distance.

A beautifual oasis of calm
We came to stay for two months as a result of having to wait for solicitors to complete purchase on a property but then Covid struck so as it turned out we were very well protected. The property is similar to a barn conversion with accommodation from left to right - kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and lounge. All the rooms were cheerful and bright and we were warm in the property despite it being March and April and there was an opportunity to use a log fire if we wished. I needed the internet for work and admittedly there were one or two minor issues with regard to getting a good access to it but Chris the owner was more than responsive to our needs. Thank you both for a lovely stay at a particularly diffiult time in our lives. The garden is phenomenal!
