It is a few minutes walk from the beach on the inland sea Mar Menor (shallow), boulevard and also a few minutes walk from local shops, supermarket and several restaurants. A Paddle and Tennis court is nearby.A few minutes by car takes you to Los Belones where there is a wide range of shops, bakers, banks and last but not least many restaurants with their own international specialities. If you are golf lovers, you can visit the famous La Manga Club Golf Resort on the other side of the motorway (10 minutes by car) and you can choose from a large variety of golf courses, all of which are reachable within 30 minutes by car.
The fishing village of Cabo de Palos is also 10 car minutes away and has excellent (fish) restaurants.
The historic port city of Cartagena with the many restored ruins but also with the many shops and department stores (including El Corte Ingles) make a visit very worthwhile.
