The Chestnuts Lincolnshire holiday cottages are located on a characteristic and authentic farm offering high quality self-catering holiday accommodation, with private fishing lakes.

The Chestnuts nestled within idyllic countryside provide the ideal base from which to explore the hustle and bustle of the East Coast and unspoilt Lincolnshire Wolds.

However, many of our guests choose to spend their days by our fishing lakes or just relaxing on the farm, where the children have ample space to play and are always welcome to feed the animals; pigs, chickens, donkeys, rabbits and ducks etc. A short walk to the village of Burgh le Marsh presents a wealth of amenities such as good pubs, restaurants and shops.

At The Chestnuts holiday cottages you can expect a warm welcome and a holiday with a difference on a real Lincolnshire farm.

Everything we expected

Fishing for carp very good. Lots of double figure carp, mostly common carp, some mirror carp. Krill boilies a good bait on an hair rig. Good location for coast attractions.

Girls from OZ - We have stayed at the Chestnuts Holiday Cottages at least 5 times and stayed in most of the cottages. Claire and her staff are always very welcoming and it feels like a home away from home. Being in an actual farm makes the experience that much better. The location of the cottages are a short walking distance to the pubs in Burgh Le Marsh and the best Chinese takeaway. Close enough to Skegness and also far enough away if that’s not your thing!.

The cottages are well spaced out and very much feel like in the countryside, plenty of room in the cottage ever though a 2 bedroom and fishing was just a bonus, really enjoyed my stay.

Electric

When booking it did not say the charge for dogs is £40 per dog I have three ,in all fairness the owner waved this fee because we weren't told in advance, also their is a separate charge for electric this needs to be upfront when booking ..
